Perennial Memory Lab

Family Trees and Mysteries is an iterative workshop series offering strategies to search, source & circulate diasporic family histories. Learn to work through generational knowledge gaps and cultural barriers by approaching archiving as a social practice. This $35 session on September 28th shares intergenerational group activities designed to support families in the process of consolidating scattered stories and memorabilia.

REGISTRATION FOR THIS WORKSHOP COVERS GROUPS OF 3 OR MORE PARTICIPATING FROM THE SAME HOUSEHOLD/LOCATION. The individual who signs up for this workshop on behalf of their group will receive email correspondence (links, instructions, follow-up materials) for their party. I cannot currently facilitate multiple groups joining virtually from different locations, but there will be the option to share additional email addresses and feedback in the follow-up form.

If you'd like to participate in this workshop individually, consider signing up for the September 25th solo learners session instead. It covers the same material, from a different perspective.

Please Note: Each PML workshop is a little different, based on people and place. Thats why this session may be recorded to serve as a reference in our ongoing communal research. You can opt out of being featured in workshop videos. Our top priority is creating an intimate learning environment where folks feel comfortable and connected. We also invite all participants to share their feedback in short follow-up surveys to help us continuously improve on our programming. Thank you for your contributions!
